Hello! My name is Hiné Mizushima. I’m a Japanese slow crafter, illustrator, miniature collage artist and puppet stop-motion animation video artist, who lives in Vancouver, Canada.
I was recently invited to be a part of an all female, all analog art, plant-themed group show, Flora, at Land Gallery in Portland, Oregon.
I’ve just finished a sea creature themed solo exhibition in Japan, and I really wanted to make some bugs next, so I combined bugs and plants! I’ve made 5 felt sculptures of Flora Insecta Series for the Flora show in the end.
