General Hospital fans are never not worried about someone making a poor decision, and yesterday was no different. We all saw as Maxie was sure something was wrong. She’s been through a lot in the last few years, and she’s been in a situation that makes her very nervous. She’s pregnant with the baby she is having with her deceased husband. She misses him so much, and there is not much she can do to help herself in this situation. However, she’s sure there is something wrong, and we think she needs to go for it. She needs to go with her gut in this moment, and she needs to fix what’s wrong. She needs to do it so that she can be comfortable. She’s not going to find that she has time to let go of things like this right now, and she has to find a way to fix it.
We also saw that Obrecht is feeling some serious emotions right now. She’s in a bad place, and it’s certainly not helping that so many people are making her nervous. Her prisoner is not helping her situation, and the fact that there are so many people looking for him and working so hard to find him makes her nervous. She’s got to keep a close eye on Finn and Franco right now since she overheard them learning there was a man in the cabin. She’s usually so stable and so professional, which she needs to be in her profession. However, she is slipping off the deep end in terms of her emotional well-being right now, and we are positive she’s not going to be able to get her life together without things falling apart in the next week or two.

It is one of our favorite things to happen when people who are new to the show get to answer questions the fans have during their Twitter sessions, and today we saw the brand new Margaux answer all the questions. Elizabeth Hendrickson was on hand to answer questions, including how she feels that Liz is basically the most gorgeous character ever in real life and on television, and we loved her answer about wanting to know how she does it. Because, well, we want to know, too!

When you hear that Julian is going to show up on Sonny’s doorstep and surprise him with a visit, you have to ask yourself why. Why is he here? What does he have to gain by this, or is he here to make more trouble than Sonny already has? We don’t know, and we never know. There is very little that he can bring to the table right now, and he will always protect his family before he’s able to do anything else. We think there is a good chance he is going to get his situation and roll with it, and we think that there is another good chance he might really be there to help. Can he make useful to Sonny? He’s going through so much, but he is the man who did try to kill Julian’s sister. So there is that.
We also see that there is going to be a situation in which Valentin works to buy some time. He wants his wife back, and he is willing to do anything it takes to make that happen. He wants to have her back so that he can get her to love him again. He’s well aware he messed up in some ways — many ways — over the years, and he’s ready to make it all right. He might not be able to do that, though, and that’s a big problem we have to deal with as we watch this happen. Will he be able to get what he wants, or will Nina blow him off once and for all?
