Megyn Price is an actress who was born in Seattle, Washington, on March 24, 1971. She began her career as an actress in 1993 and has since become known for her work in television. She is most famous for her roles AS Mary Roth in ‘The Ranch’, Audrey Bingham in ‘Rules of Engagement’, and Claudia Finnerty in ‘Grounded for Life’. 1. She Is Married to Her Childhood Sweetheart
At high school, Megyn Price dated Edward Cotner, who is now an ER physician. The couple parted ways and she went on to marry television show creator Bill Lawrence, but they later divorced. When she was reunited with Cotner, the couple married. She has given him the nickname Steady Eddie.
2. Acting Was Not Her First Career Choice
Although Megyn Price had acted in an amateur capacity throughout her childhood and teens, she did not initially try to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She studied for a degree in economics and communication at Stanford University before working as an investment banker for a year. She realized that this was not the right career path for her and decided to become an actress.
3. Her Daughter Was Born on Friday the 13th
Megyn Price has one daughter with her husband called Grace. She was born on Friday, July 13, 2007, weighing seven pounds 14 ounces. When Price realized that her daughter would be born, she joked that she would have an exorcist on standby.
4. She Directed an Episode of Rules of Engagement
Although Price is best-known for her work in front of the camera, she has also tried her hand at being a director. She has directed one episode of ‘Rules of Engagement’ in 2013. This was the episode called ‘Timmy Quits’.
5. She Grows Organic Vegetables
In her spare time, Megyn Price loves to grow organic vegetables in her backyard and has even joined a club for organic vegetable growers. She likes to use her own produce when creating meals for the family and her favorite recipe is vegetable soup using her own produce.

Price has said in interviews that her preference in terms of work is comedy series as she loves the energy and has always been drawn to witty people. Although she has never pursued a career in music, Megyn Price is actually a talented singer. She is even credited as singing on the soundtracks of two television series. In 2002, she sang ‘Summer Nights’ on ‘Grounded for Life’ and in 2013, she performed ‘Amazing Grace’ on ‘A Country Christmas Story’ in an episode titled ‘I Fought the In-Laws’.
9. She Has Written Scripts
When she was at high school Megyn Price wrote a script for a play called ‘Here Comes the Sun’ which she later produced after becoming a professional actress. She is now working on the script for a one-woman show she is performing in Los Angeles.
10. She Almost Quit Acting When LateLine Was Canceled
Between 1998 and 1999, Megyn Price played the series regular Gale Ingersoll in ‘LateLine’. She appeared in 17 episodes of this sitcom. She has since said that it was her favorite job in her whole career. This NBC series was canceled and was aired for the last time on March 16, 1999. Price was so upset that the series had come to an end that she briefly considered leaving the acting industry and pursuing another career. However, she got over the loss of the role and landed the part of Claudia Finnerty in ‘Grounded for Life’ just two years later.
