The lead character in the series is Judge Lola Carmichael, played by Simone Missick. This actress is known for her work in both film and television. Her role in ‘All Rise’ is her first major television series role.
Ruthie Ann Miles
Sherri Kansky is played by Ruthie Ann Miles, who is both an actress and a singer. She has enjoyed a career in musical theater as well as working in television. Prior to landing a role in ‘All Rise’, she had played Young Hee Seong in six episodes of ‘The Americans’ and then appeared in one episode of ‘Elementary’, playing the role of Rockaway Detective. Miles is married to Jonathan Blumenstein, and she and her husband are overcoming a tragedy. In March 2018, their four-year-old daughter Abigail was killed when crossing a road in Brooklyn, New York. A car ran through a red light and plowed into a group of pedestrians. Miles was pregnant with their second child at the time, and she later lost their unborn baby.
Reggie Lee
Thomas Choi is a recurring role that is played by Reggie Lee. He is an actor who has enjoyed success in both film and television. In film, he has played Lance Nguen in ‘The Fast and the Furious, GCPD Officer Ross in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, and Tai Huang in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series of films.
