Meet the Rumored Cast of Dancing with the Stars Season 25

Dancing with the Stars is a popular dance competition where celebrities are paired with professional dancers. It is hosted by Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews, the latter of whom joined the show in season 18. The show first launched on June 1, 2005, on the ABC network. Due to the show’s popularity, it is about to begin its 25th season. Although the cast for season 25 is not yet confirmed, speculation is rife about which celebrities are lined up to compete in the upcoming show. Here is what we know so far and information about the celebrities that are linked by rumors to this year’s show.

Pro Dancers

As yet, the only set details that the producers have confirmed in the relation to season 25 is the list of pro dancers who will be performing on the show. The dancers who have been named include Mark Ballas, Witney Carson, Alan Bersten, Val Chmerkovskiy, Maks Chmerkovskiy, Lindsay Arnold, Peta Murgatroyd, Emma Slater, Gleb Savchenko, Keo Motsepe, Artem Chigvinsev, and Sharna Burgess.

Nikki Bella

Nikki Bela has reportedly accepted the invitation to join the show. The WWE star is excited to take part in the show and it has come at the perfect time. She is currently taking time out from her wrestling career following an injury and has been keen to participate in the show for a while. Initially, there were rumors that her twin sister, Brie, with whom she partners in wrestling, was also considering the show. However, these rumors have been dismissed as Brie is currently taking time out to care for her new baby.

Drew Scott

The second celebrity who is almost a dead cert to have joined the lineup is Drew Scott. The ‘Property Brothers’ star hosts his HGTV series alongside his twin brother Jonothan Scott. Being a twin is not the only thing that Drew Scott has in common with Nikki Bella as they have both got engaged this year. Bella has got engaged to pro wrestler John Cena while Scott is set to marry Linda Phan.

Chris Christie

A more surprising rumor is that Jersey Governor Chris Christie is a potential member of the celebrity line up for this season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. There is no confirmation whether there is any truth in this speculation and he would certainly make a surprise member of the cast. The rumor started when he was rejected from Trump’s administration team. A spokesperson informed the media that he had other potential work opportunities that he was considering, leading to the guessing game beginning. Almost every season, a politician is invited to take part in the reality series. However, the only one who has accepted this role to date is Rick Perry.

The Big Reveal

The rest of the celebrity cast of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ season 25 is planned for release on September 6. In a new twist, the producers are also holding back the name of one of the professional dancers until this date. This gives viewers something else they can get excited about. The new season is set to air on Monday, September 17, 2017.
