Lucifer Promo: Things are about to get real for Lucifer

Lucifer

Oh my God (no offence, Lucifer), things are about to get very real in this upcoming episode of Lucifer. After finding out that Detective Decker makes him feel more human and therefore vulnerable to things like being shot at, our favourite Devil avoids the detective like the plague (again, sorry for the pun). He is then confronted by Detective Decker to get an explanation to his avoidance of her. Hope he has a good explanation for her or else I don’t think Detective Decker is going to buy it if she thinks that he’s lying to her.

It’s also an interesting development that Lucifer has harboured certain feelings for Detective Decker throughout this first season and I’m sure the good detective feels the same. They had better not go down the whole Castle route of getting together and then have an on again, off again relationship before coming to their senses. That or the whole Scorpion thing with Paige and Walter. I’m sure that I’ve said all I needed to say with regards to the latter so I won’t repeat them again.

In the promo clip below, after coming down from his very steamy evening liaison with Maze, Amenadiel is not a happy archangel when he finds out that Malcolm didn’t kill Lucifer. I have a feeling that there will be an extremely heated and violent confrontation between these two brothers from what I have seen in the promo clip. We also see Detective Decker pulling a gun on Lucifer. Will she shoot him despite her feelings toward him or will her feelings for Lucifer supersede those that want to make the Devil eat lead? I have a suspicion that it’s going to be the latter because I am a hopeless romantic and want to see this partnership between them turn into something more, but I, along with the rest of you, will have to wait until Monday (or Tuesday in my case) to get to the bottom of it. Until then, dear readers, let us turn to the world of fan-fiction for some solstice because we are all #TeamLucifer.
