As a hobby landscape photographer, I have always wanted to take mountain pictures. To do that, you have to spend a significant amount of time in beautiful nature. It’s best to climb the mountain peaks early in the morning, because of the optimal light and spectacular sunrises. This is why I decided to go and live in the mountains for a longer period of time.
While thinking about how much time I should spend in the mountains for my landscape photography project, I got the idea for some sort of a personal challenge. I knew I could manage one or two weeks, but what about a month of mountain views?
I hiked in the Julian Alps (Slovenian part), spending most of the time in the Triglav National Park. My goal was to climb the majority of the beautiful mountains around Lake Bohinj and the highest peak of Slovenia – Triglav (2864 m) for the first time.
I was awarded with plenty of breathtaking panoramic views, unique experiences, and new friendships. Here are some photos of my journey. I hope you like it!
