Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Martin Scorsese May Finally Team Up for Epic Film

Leonardo DiCaprio is clearly a favorite of Martin Scorsese’s.   And we all know that Robert De Niro is also a favorite of Marty’s.  You’d think all three of these legends in Hollywood would have collaborated on a film by now.  Sadly the answer to that query is no.  But rumor has it the trio may very well put together an epic project in the near future.   The independent reports that:

A fierce bidding war sparked last year over David Grann’s just-published book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI, attracting attention from the likes of Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

Imperative Entertainment eventually won out with a bid of $5 million, with Deadline now reporting the project has sparked the interest of an epic trio of creatives: Martin Scorsese and his frequent collaborators Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro may all join forces together for the first time on the film.

Grann’s non-fiction work, which hit shelves last week, documents the string of murders which plagued the Osage Indian tribe in Oklahoma during the 1920s, after oil was found on their land and the nation soon became the richest per capita in the world.

Right now Scorsese and De Niro are actually working on a film called The Irishman for Netflix.   I’m pretty sure that no matter what the title was to any movie these three would be working on will attract a huge amount of attention and interest.   I just hope they don’t muck it up.  That and they have to get Margot Robbie integrated into this film.
