Lauren German is an American actress who was born in Huntington Beach, California, on November 29, 1978. She began her career as an actress and has since worked in both the film and the television industries. In television, she is best-known for her roles as Leslie Shay in ‘Chicago Fire’ and DHS agent Lori Weston in ‘Hawaii Five-0‘. Acting may not necessarily have been German’s first choice of career as she could potentially have become an anthropologist. She studied anthropology at the University of Southern California.
