While Kristen Stewart will always be known as Bella from Twilight to the masses, she’s developed herself into an extremely talented actress as well as human being. The way I see it, her Twilight days were her “MTV” days. This is catering to the young people, being with Robert Pattinson, and not necessarily knowing who you are. In fact I’ll bet that even Kristen Stewart herself looks back on those days as a learning experience. But today Stewart’s a fashion icon, a lover of independent film, huge LGBT advocate, and an actress to be taken very seriously as evidenced by her roles in Clouds of Sils Maria, and Olivier Assayas’ new film, Personal Shopper.
Stewart stopped by The Late Show last night to talk about her film roles but since it’s, you know, The Late Show, Stephen Colbert touched upon the 11 tweets that Donald Trump has sent her. Stewart reached out to Trump when she hosted SNL and said “Donald, if you didn’t like me then, you’re really probably not going to like me now, because I’m hosting SNL, and I am so gay, dude.” Stephen Colbert then pointed out on Thursday’s The Late Show, Trump has spent more time tweeting about Kristen Stewart than “condemning anti-semitism.”
