Kevin Durant and Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay Had a Serious Relationship in College

Kevin Durant romance stories are few and far between.  The closes thing we’re seeing nowadays involving Durant and a woman would be his stare downs of Rihanna in game one of the NBA finals.  Other than that it’s pretty light.  On the other hand The Bachelorette’s Rachel Lindsay is in the news every single day as we are all trying to decipher who she’s engaged to.   Why do I bring up these two?  Because it turns out they dated in a land far far away.  According to US Weekly

“They broke up when she went to law school,” the insider told Us, adding that the split was amicable. “It was a pretty serious relationship.” Lindsay, 31, was a sports medicine major at Texas, while the 6-foot-9-inch Durant, now 28, was showing what he can do on the basketball court, averaging 25 points per game, winning various national accolades while leading the Longhorns to the second round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship.

I wonder if Lindsay is a little regretful to not be with the Warriors star right now.   It would be pretty hilarious if after the finale of The Bachelorette that we find out it’s Durant she’s engaged to and not any of the contestants from the show.
