It’s always nice to see when John Oliver decides to go “full politics.” On last week’s episode he of course made fun of Donald Trump like he always does but last night we were treated to a 25 minute tirade that’s one for the books. What was the subject of his long rant? It was of course the latest allegations against the Trump administration and its ties to Russia.
Oliver cannot (neither can I) believe where we’re at a mere four months into Donald Trump’s presidency. Dubbing this whole library of scandals “Stupid Watergate,” the “Last Week Tonight” host broke down the “absolutely insane” previous seven days of our national nightmare.
The HBO personality addressed the following four questions on Sunday:
- “What the f– is going on?”
- “How big a deal is this?”
- “Where do we go from here?”
- And, of course, “Is this real life?”
