Jill and Jessa Duggar Forgive Josh and Want to Move On

It looks like the Duggars are ready to put the whole scandal behind them.   But do they feel that someone should be punished?  We’ll get back to that in a moment since the one who should be punished is Josh Duggar. Recently members of the Duggars spoke to Good Morning America.

“We’re moving on with our lives, and we’re really looking forward to the future,” said John-David Duggar And so we wanted to kind of share that with our fans, the folks that have followed us for years.” He added, “We’ve forgiven, and we’re moving on, and we’re looking to the future.”

When it comes to Jill and Jessa Duggar, they’re getting ready to debut their new show on TLC called “Jill and Jessa: Counting On.” The show is going to focus on the older siblings in the Duggar “clan.” But mostly it’s going to focus on Jill and Jessa’s families. As you’ll recall the hit show “19 Kids and Counting” was canceled after news broke that Josh Duggar had molested several underage girls when he was a teenager.

Josh later admitted that he had an addiction to sex. Josh spent time in a spiritual rehabilitation clinic. While there his parents publicly wished him a happy birthday. “The devil took his best shot,” added John-David. “And he tried to take our whole family down, but God has really used this to, instead of tearing us apart as a family, he’s using it to draw us together.”

Sister Jessa admitted that allowing cameras back into their lives was a difficult decision but in the end, they felt their experiences may help others in similar situations. “We’ve had a lot of healing in our family in these past months but we’re ready to move forward and share our lives,” she said.

In a recent interview with Megyn Kelly the sisters admitted that the public spectacle has been awful. Kelly asked them questions about any legal action that might be taken as well wondering if they’d be going after any news entities who have drawn out the issue.  But come on. The person who has to pay is Josh! Is this family that warped?  I seriously can’t comment anymore.

Here’s the interview on Foxnews.
