Materials Needed
Canvas
Acrylic Paint
Cardstock
Sponge brush
“THIS IS HALLOWEEN” Template and Jack Skellington Template
Thumb tacks or small finishing nails to poke holes
Stencil Spray
Craft Knife and mat
Light source such as a battery powered string of lights or lantern
Painter’s tape or temporary tape
Paint your whole canvas black
Cut out the letters of the template
Stencil on the letters
Remove the stencil
Tape down your Jack Skellington template and use a thumbtack to poke holes along the outline of the black features
Lift your template to check on placement
Light the canvas to see how it looks
You can fill in the rest of the face shape with holes or leave it as the outline
