Days of Our Lives fans are just sitting here beside ourselves about what just happened. Remember when we told you last week there was a wedding going down, and it was going to be the kind of wedding you did not expect to see happen? Well, it was one of those entirely. It was time for John to make the ultimate sacrifice. He was unable to marry Marlena — and we know that we’ve been referring to her as his wife because we just want them to be married and they were close enough it counted for us — but he was able to marry Hattie. He had to if he wanted to protect Marlena. It was an ugly moment, and now he has a blushing bride of his own. But will this be enough to keep Marlena safe and to protect her from the harm that is wished upon her now?
Sami is looking for information, and she’s willing to give Stefan money to get it. She wants to know more about EJ, and she’s not looking to have him lie to her. She’s someone who cannot get her life in order, and she is completely willing to put herself in the middle of a desperate situation to get what she wants, and this is one of those things. She not only needs to know what happened there, she wants to know. She’s given him money, and now she wants him to find out what he can and to give it to her. She’s not sure if he is actually alive or not, but she’s got to learn more about what is going on so she can rest in peace with what happened or what she thought happened. She’s not doing anything to forget this is going on in the moment, and it will get uglier.

We all sat on the edge of our seats and waited on this one, and we were not all that disappointed in how it all turned out. We love it when things work out for the best, and this was one of those moments in which we all felt a little good. We, too, we on the edge of our seats!

John did something he did not want to do, but will it turn out to make things right for him? Hattie did all she could to trick him into marrying her, and he did it so that he could keep his real love safe and alive. And we hear that it worked. We hear that she’s all right, alive, and well, and that things will finally work out for him, but we don’t know that it will be perfect by any means. He’s still married to Hattie, and things are not looking good for anyone in the meantime. But she’s well, and that’s good news. His prayers have been answered and all is well.
Ben has some good news for Ciara, too. How will she react to that after all that’s been going down in her life? Her mother is in big trouble, he accused her of something horrible, Ciara has been seeing things happen with Tripp, Claire is still a problem for her, and things are not working out well for her at all. Will she welcome his news with open arms, or will she be unhappy that he’s even bothering to tell her? After all, she cannot win in this situation, and she knows that. She knows there is nothing she can do at this point to make anyone happy. She has to give up Ben or she has to give up her mother. And will she make the best decision or will she do what she feels is best for her — again and again? We don’t know.
