Isabela Moner is a new up and comer to the Hollywood industry that got her start about five years ago and has been moving up the ranks pretty steadily as she’s continued to hone her skills and develop her talent. She’s already appeared in a couple of high profile films and been prevalent in TV so you can get the idea that she’s going about it the right way, getting the gigs and doing the best she can to impress the right people. So far she’s taken on some pretty major roles and is in line to keep doing the same as she’s going to be starring as everyone’s favorite girl explorer, Dora, at some point in the future.
Right now it seems as though the sky is the just view and there’s no limit in sight.
She was in Transformers: The Last Knight
Say what you want about the film but she played the convincing part of a street kid that had been chumming around with a Transformer for a long period of time after the debacle that happened in Chicago in the other films. The Transformers franchise took a very hard line towards the relations between the humans and the Autobots, making it impossible for the two species to get along since the humans believed that the Autobots were just as dangerous as the Decepticons and were worth eradicating right along with them. The only drawback there is that somehow the Decepticons were a little smarter than the humans thought they were and were about to wreak havoc on the earth while the Autobots were more than willing to keep them from succeeding. Izabella was the spunky young girl that wouldn’t back down from a fight no matter how dangerous it was and how outmatched she and her friends were.
She’s also in Sicario: Day of the Soldado
She’s not quite as tough in this film as she plays the daughter of a drug cartel kingpin. In reality her character is more of a bargaining chip that becomes less valuable when the CIA finds out that the cartels weren’t shipping bombers over the border. This means that not only have they been in error, but that they also have to kill the girl as she’s already been witness to the things they’ve done. Gillick however bonded with her during this time and could not in good conscience just let her die. So this pits him against those he counted as his allies and eventually seems to get him killed. Thankfully Graves takes pity on the girl and lets her live, but from that point on it would seem that Gillick and he are bound to be enemies, as Gillick survives.

Remember middle school? For some it was just another two years of school before finally reaching high school status, but for others this transition was something truly terrifying because a lot of things were changing during this time. People were growing up, friendships were changing, and things were happening that a lot of people just couldn’t fully understand. It was a time of great change that a lot of kids were genuinely scared of and still are to be honest since it’s hard to know which way to turn. So to combat this these three friends create their own bucket list of things to do before they reach high school in an attempt to enjoy the last couple of years that they have together, supposedly. Quite honestly friendship doesn’t have to end once high school begins.
So far in her career Isabela has shown a remarkable amount of talent and is definitely primed to keep going and keep getting better with every film and show she’s in. So far her acting is more on point than some adults, and this bodes well for her chances of being remembered fondly as time goes on. The effort needed to become a superstar is something that defines a lot of actors, and she’s already proving capable of sticking with it and creating characters that people can relate to and really appreciate.
One of the best parts is that she’s still young, she’s in her teens and hasn’t yet hit the adult phase where things really start to change and the business could become a lot more of a serious matter for her as it does for others. She has the intensity and the capability to become a great actress since she’s already shown what she can do and that she has the capacity to get even better, but right now she’s in the driver’s seat when it comes to her career. If she has the kind of staying power that she needs then her career is going to be nothing shy of excellent.
She’s definitely one to watch for.
