When Tom Cruise has a girlfriend, the world wants to know about it. The last time he was with a woman, and no one cared, was when he married his first wife. She was Mimi Rogers, and they married in 1987. She was an actress who was also heavily involved in the Church of Scientology. She was Tom Cruise’s GF for a moment, and then she was his wife. Their marriage did not last long, but she’s the woman credited with welcoming the iconic actor into the Scientology lifestyle before he was a megastar. We are sure the church doesn’t mind the fact that he went on to become one of the most famous actors in the world.

We don’t say that in a manner that means she, herself, was uninteresting. She was not. However, he simply wasn’t as famous as he was now, and the world did not care as much about his wedding to her. It was 1990 – the same year Cruise divorced his first wife – that he was working with Nicole Kidman on Days of Thunder. They were married before the year was out, and the world paid serious attention. She was a huge actress. He was now a huge actor. The world cared. They adopted two children together, and their marriage seemed happy. For a moment, that is. In 2001, Cruise filed for divorce from his then-pregnant wife, Nicole Kidman. The world thought the divorce news shocked her into a miscarriage, but she later clarified that her pregnancy was ectopic and would never be viable.
Tom Cruise’s GF Katie Holmes Was His Third Wife
It was 2005 when Cruise began dating Katie Holmes. The world admitted thought their relationship was a strange one. He was much older than the young sweetheart. However, it was his Oprah couch jumping moment that really freaked everyone out. By the time they’d been together all of six months, Holmes was pregnant, and they were engaged. The couple was married not long after little Suri Cruise was born in 2006. The world still thought this one was strange. When Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise in 2012, it was the first and only thing about their marriage that the world felt was normal and right – it never worked. However, it was also rumored at the time that he had auditions to find a good wife (at the church’s insistence), and she was one of the ones the church found acceptable. It’s all strange, and no one knows what is true and what is not. It makes for a fascinating story, though, and it’s one that Cruise and the church have always denied.

Though neither confirmed this relationship, the couple did not deny it. It seems many people close to both confirmed that they were together and on and off a few times. However, we may never know. Tom Cruise has become something of a recluse in terms of his privacy, and he seems to be the kind of guy who is not going to share his personal life with us any longer.
