The week left us off with some very interesting twists and turns, and it looks as if though Monday will be no different. Spoilers for Monday’s Young and the Restless indicate that there will be more than just a little familial issue going on in this little town and with these families. We already know that Chelsea is not thrilled that Adam is working with his father. The story is that he is working with Luca to bring down Victor, which Chelsea was stunned to hear from Marisa earlier in the week. Upon confronting Adam about it and her displeasure that her husband is working on something like this, Adam tells her it’s not what it seems. He is only pretending to work with Luca to take down Victor so that he can actually work with Victor to take down the Santoris. This led to more than a few minor arguments and to Chelsea swearing she will not tell Marisa. She doesn’t like it, though; especially the part about her husband working with his father, whom she does not care for in the least.
On Monday, things are going to get even more complicated for this family as Victoria mentions to Phyllis in front of Billy that Victor put her in charge of some internet deal that they are working on at the company while he’s away for a while. Since Phyllis is the woman who had Adam kidnapped and since she is the one plotting against Victor to take him down using this internet deal and she’s involved in this plot with her son, it’s going to get crazy. Will Billy have second thoughts about his role in this plan now that his wife is involved? After all, he did promise her that he would stay out of things like this even though he’s not doing anything that he promised her. His accident provided him with a second chance at life, and he is not doing a good job of making sure that he is able to keep that going for himself. He’s messing it up before he’s even released from the hospital, and we have to wonder if he will cross his mother now that his wife is involved. If he does, will Phyllis understand?
Sage is meeting with Dr. Shelby now, and the doctor wants to know what’s going on. Does the doctor suspect that Sage is not really in the place she wants everyone to believe that she is in? Does anyone else know that she and Nick are playing Dr. Anderson in an attempt to take her down? They know that she is doing something wrong with her insistence on being close to Nick and making sure that he thinks Sage is crazy, and now they are teaming up against her by pretending that Nick is worried about Sage and getting closer to the doctor. This plot line will take a turn in the new week, and we suspect that it will not be good for the people involved, probably Sage least of all.
With that in mind, we see in spoilers that Nick wants to talk about Sage with Adam and he wants to do it now. We don’t know that Adam will be overly receptive to this conversation at the moment given everything else that is going on in his life. He’s just been released from a kidnapper’s hands and he is now fighting with his wife, double crossing an enemy and working with his father. Does he even care what’s going on with Sage at the moment, or does he not have time for her dramatics? We need to figure out where he stands in all this to begin with, and whether or not their plan will work or if it will blow up in their faces and cause everything that’s already happened to only become worse.
As for Phyllis, we will see her react to the news that her son’s wife is involved with her father’s company and the deal they are working so hard and so secretly to manipulate. We wonder if she will change her mind, or if she will have to take down her daughter-in-law, too, even though it might hurt her son in the process.
