I’m Posting A Photo Everyday To Realize A 365days Photo Diary (24 Pics)

I am an Italian fine artist and street photographer. In 2014 I realized my first 365 Project that consists of taking a photo per day, every day, for an entire year. That time I’ve decided to take pictures only with my phone and it’s been an amazing experience, my eyes were always open, all day long, looking for something to photograph for my 365 Project.

Now, after a difficult year where I had great difficulties in taking pictures due to the pandemic situation and a deep lack of motivations, I’ve decided to begin a new 365 Project, from the first day of this 2021 to the 31st of December, to collect a photo diary of this new year, that I hope it will be a year of rebirth for me. I’m posting a photo every day on my photography blog.

#1 Day 5: Another Day In “Red Zone”, Only Supermarkets, Pharmacies And A Few Else. I Did A Small Walk Near My Place To Buy Some Stuff And Take Some Pictures. Tomorrow Is Holiday, I’m Going To Watch Football In TV And I Guess I’ll Stay Home. Let’see.

#2 Day 9: “This Precise Moment In Time As Seen From The Future”. It’s Funny Because I Often Think How I’ll See These Months One Day, In The Future, And I Don’t Really Have An Answer. I Always See The Past With A Nostalgic Eye, Thinking About All The Possibilities I Had, All The Roads I Could Have Taken. But These Are Just Mind Games, Nothing Else.

#3 Day 17: A Friend Of Mine Asked Me To Help Her Move To Her New Home. My Car Has Never Been So Full Of Music, Books And Movies.

#4 Day 2: Everyone In Rome Knows How Magic Is A Flock Of Starlings That Paints Figures In The Sky (Less Beautiful Is When You Leave Your Car Under A Tree Where They “Rest”, But It’s A Different Story). I Didn’t See Starlings Since Longtime And I Was Very Happy Today When I’ve Seen A Flock Above My Eyes.

#5 Day 8: My First Draft Beer Of The Year. I Went To Luppolo Station To Get A Ipa And Then I Drank It Walking Around The Neighborhood, In The Beautiful Area Of Monteverde, A Fascinating Hill From Which You Can See The Horizon With The Lights Of Rome In The Sunset.

#6 Day 10: “We Will Come Back To Hug Each Other”, As It’s Written On The Advertising Poster. Ok, But When? In The Meanwhile, We Wait Patiently.

#7 Day 13: Today I Walked Almost 10 Kilometers. I Was Just Following The Light.

#8 Day 20: I Went To The Supermarket. The View From The Parking Looked Like A Sort Of Human Cinema.

#9 Day 23: In These Days Our Life Is Not About Strength. It’s About Waiting.

#10 Day 1: First Day Of The Year. A Rainy Day. Via Cristoforo Colombo In The Late Afternoon Is Quite Empty, Traffic Lights Remind Me The Colors Of My City. I Don’t Know What Surprise This Year Will Bring To Me, I’m Curious And In The Same Time A Little Worried. But The Best Thing Of The Future Is That Comes One Day At A Time.

#11 Day 4: Another Blue Picture. Maybe I’m In A Sort Of “Blue Period”, Blue As The Color, Not The Mood, I Guess. A Few People In The Streets, But As Always In The Last Year, It’s Normal To Meet A Rider Waiting To Deliver Food.

#12 Day 11: I Like This Corner In Piazza San Giovanni, Maybe Because It Reminds Me Of Paris.

#13 Day 12: Finally A Day Of Sun. And I Breathed A Lighter Smell Of Life.

#14 Day 15: Recently I’m Enjoying Taking Random Photos From My Car When I’m Stuck At Traffic Lights. Sometimes You Find A Nice Surprise.

#15 Day 16: Last Day In “Yellow Zone” For Italy. A Beautiful Day Of Sun. A Lot Of People In The Streets.

#16 Day 19: A Blue Moon Is Up In The Sky. It Saw Me Standing Alone.

#17 Day 3: Italy Is In A Red Zone Today, It Means That We Are Not Allowed To Go Out. Stuck In My Place, I’ve Observed The Rain Out Of My Window. It’s Still Raining And I Wonder Who’ll Stop The Rain.

#18 Day 6: It’s Wednesday, But It’s Like Sunday. Epiphany Is A Feast Day In Italy, Children Receive A Sock (Well, A Socking) Full Of Sweets And Chocolates. This Morning The Sun Was A Bit Shy, But Luckly It Didn’t Rain. On My Way I Met These Two Girls, I Like Their Gaze.

#19 Day 7: Another Day Without Sun. It’s Also The First Day Of The Year With My Region In “Yellow Zone”, It Means That We Are Allowed To Go Out, Work Or Live The City. The Result Is That I’ve Been Stuck In A Traffic Jam, So I Took Some Pictures From My Car.

#20 Day 14: I Walked All Day Long To Find A Good Image And Finally I Found It At The End Of My Walk, Not Far From My Place.

#21 Day 18: Today Should Be The Blue Monday. I Found A Spray Of Yellow Too.

#22 Day 21: Not So Cold And Not So Frosty Morning. There’s Not A Lot To Say.

#23 Day 22: There’s Something Mysterious In The Air. I Met Someone That Was Feeling Broken.

#24 Day 24: I’m All Lost In The Supermarket, I Can No Longer Shop Happily.
