I Capture Every Move Of Diving Kingfishers (16 Pics)

I’m Kunito Imai, a nature photographer in Tokyo.

Several kingfishers live around a local pond. As you may already know, they dive to catch a fish.

They prefer the higher spots for fishing in the winter. I suppose it’s because the reflected sunlight on the surface is too strong at a short distance.

I go photographing them a few times a week. I try to capture every move of their diving. Here are some of my best shots.
