Hugh Jackman’s decided to hang up Wolverine’s claws and make Logan his swan song for the character. However, that hasn’t stopped director James Mangold from intimating that another Wolverine picture could very well be on the horizon. Given Logan’s box office and critical success it’s done more than enough to justify additional movies. The only question that remains is “what will such a movie look like?” Will it be a stand alone X-23 film? Can Dafne Keen carry a solo film yet? You have to remember this girl is only 12-years-old. Still, a solo X-23 film does make an enormous amount of sense.
While we continue to speculate on the future of Wolverine in films, let’s return to the present and talk about a recent photo that Hugh Jackman has posted on social media. May I take a moment to talk about how awesome Hugh Jackman is on Twitter? I think he and Ryan Reynolds may be everyone’s favorites when it comes to the MCU. Jackman just share this amazing highly quality and beautifully colored photo of the scene when his claws come out during an encounter with some thugs who are trying to steal a limo.
Given his past and incredible generosity in sharing personal and professional pictures, I’d say it’s likely Jackman will continue sharing images like these for the foreseeable future. When Logan’s run at the theater comes to a close we still won’t nearly be finished given the making of Logan promises to be fascinating to see once the Blu-ray is released.
