When he was accused of being abusive, Disney was quick to tell the world that Johnny Depp would no longer be invited to play the role of Captain Jack Sparrow, though they gave other reasons for not wanting him to be part of any future work. Many fans find it interesting they are so quick to cut ties with a man who was allegedly abusive and who ended up walking away not guilty while they continue to support other, far more controversial, things. However, with the announcement that Pirates of the Caribbean 6 was officially confirmed in August of 2022 by Jerry Bruckheimer himself, many fans are hoping to see Johnny Depp return as Captain Jack Sparrow.
Fans are petitioning for the actor to come back. Wouldn’t it be a riot if they did invite the iconic actor back to play a role, and he turned them down?
