My mom died when I was 7 from cancer. I didn’t know she had cancer, all I was told was that she was sick.
My mom would go to the store a few blocks away everyday and get me my favorite candy as a treat after school.
Even when she was sick from chemo and throwing up. Without fail everyday I had a piece of candy from her :)

Every year before we all moved away to live in different parts of the world Christmas was spent at mum’s. After dinner we played monopoly and if our younger brother didn’t get Mayfair he would storm off to his room for a hour it was hilarious.
