The birth of my son. But before that. I have a memory of my mom taking me to the shore (that’s beach for anyone outside of NJ *L*). It was a rainy day, the ocean was churning, but there we were, just talking. Trying to find common ground. Memories are a funny thing, we can choose the ones we want and release the ones we don’t. (God knows I’ve got plenty of those)
