Heroes and Villains FanFest Scoop: Arrow’s Imminent Grave Scene

ArrowSorry folks, there’s no new Arrow this week. There’s one more week of angst left before the show returns next Wednesday. Luckily TVOvermind has some sweet photos of the Arrow stars from this past weekend’s Heroes and Villains FanFest. We went all the way to Chicago and back and discovered…nothing. Well, not nothing, but no one is giving away the big “Who’s In the Grave?” secret. That’s not to say that the stars didn’t give hints about who is and who is not in the grave, as well as a few other tidbits on what’s ahead for the rest of Season 4.

Among the silly, the outlandish, and the heartwarming moments the cast of Arrow shared this weekend, were the few sneak peeks they were able to tell about what’s coming up. When last we left Arrow, the team had defeated Damian Darhk by destroying his link to magic and rescued Oliver’s son William. As a result, Darhk is now sitting in jail and Oliver lost both his son and his fiancee Felicity. Regarding Felicity’s decision to walk away from Oliver, series star Stephen Amell explained that “Felicity does not want to be with Oliver currently, and Oliver is going to maintain his position [on wanting her back] like an adult”, while Ramsey confirmed his character John Diggle will do his best to be there for his best friends. Damian Darhk, played by Neal McDonough, will have the tables turned on him as he will be having a difficult time coping in a jail cell. Don’t count him out though, he’ll be back with a vengeance. There will also be some fun Curtis Holt scenes coming up, and if the ‘Men of Arrow’ panel was any indication, they will be hilarious!

On the heels of the show being renewed for a 5th Season, Amell confirmed that, straight from CW President Mark Pedowitz’s lips, there will be a 3-way crossover between Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow next year. Will it be difficult? Yes, but Amell said he “can’t envision a world where [it] doesn’t happen.” Amell even wants a new bow for next year! Furthermore, he discussed his hopes for a “more finished product of Oliver” in Season 5, which will at least bring conclusion to the flashbacks of Oliver’s time away from Star City right up to the moment he first returned in the pilot.

Now about that grave scene. Arrow stars did confirm this weekend that the grave scene has been filmed and one main character will be leaving before the end of the season. Amell further confirmed that he has known for some time who was in the grave. No one is spilling or dropping any hints about whose character is marked for death (although my inner circle has deduced an 80% positive guess about who it is, and I’m not telling). What the cast did say is that the episode has been extremely difficult for them personally since they are losing a beloved friend. David Ramsey (Diggle) confirmed that the death is final, but the actor or actress leaving the show will always be apart of the Arrow family.

Who do you think is in the Grave?
