10 Things You Didn’t Know about Graham Stephan

When Graham Stephan was a child, he had a dream. He wanted to do something big with his life. He kept his goals in his mind until he was a legal adult, and that’s when he made it happen. He began in real estate, and now he is the owner of the single largest financial YouTube channel around. He’s earning millions of dollars a year making videos and hosting a new podcast, and he is doing it all from what he’s been able to teach himself.

1. He Was a Real Estate Agent

He was only 18 when he made the decision to go into real estate. The year was 2008, and the economy was failing miserably thanks to the Obama administration and policies, yet he chose to get into the business regardless. He waited to turn 18, and that’s when he went right into studying for his exam.

2. He is a Californian

He was born and raised where he lives now. He’s been a Californian his entire life. He was raised in Santa Monica, and he continues to work and live in the same area. California is his home, and he seems to be the type who will not change that. He knows the area like the back of his hand, which makes it easier for him to do his job, too. However, he left his LA apartment in 2019 and moved to Las Vegas. That does not mean California will not always be home, though.

3. He Works with Celebrity Clients

One of the reasons he’s so successful is because he handles the real estate sales of some of the most famous people in the world. When they are satisfied with his work, he then goes on to have his name recommended by them to others. He’s sold homes to and for people such as Orlando Bloom, who is one of the most famous actors in the world.

4. He Invests

In addition to selling real estate, he also owns it. He knows it’s wise to put his money where his mouth is, so he has purchased more than six investment properties over the years. His investment properties are all rentals, and he makes a handsome income from those rental agreements.

5. He is a YouTuber

As if he is not busy enough with his rental properties and his real estate career, he also runs and maintains a YouTube channel. In fact, his YouTube channel is touted as the largest personal finance channel on YouTube. He boasts more than 3.7 million subscribers, and his viewership exceeds more than 10 million monthly views.

6. He Loves His Aquarium

The one thing that he finds the most joy in might be his aquarium. It’s large, and impressive, and it is a centerpiece of his Vegas home. He has said in the past that it might be exactly what he would have had when he was a child if he had the income to create it. He has spent an estimated $45k on it so far.

7. He Quit Real Estate

When he realized his YouTube channel was taking off and he was making millions of dollars every year, he was able to leave real estate. He broke the $1 million earnings mark in 2019. By 2020, he was earning more than $5 million per year, and now he is scheduled to earn even more than that.

8. He makes Millions

His YouTube channel alone makes him a lot of money. In just ad revenue, he is bringing in an estimated $3 million annually. On that note, he is also bringing in another $3 million plus that is only from his brand partnerships and other collaborations. He’s doing well.

9. He is not Single

Sorry, ladies. He’s taken. While he is not a married man, he is a man who is in a relationship with a woman that is serious enough they do live together. Her name is Macy. They share his 4,000-square-foot Vegas home (as does their one live-in household helper).

10. He Knew YouTube Was It For Him During Lockdowns

His real estate career ended with the lockdown. The time he was able to spend perfecting his channel and making it what it is has given him the courage to see how big he could go with it. He needed that time to grow, and he is using it wisely now that he has it. He was challenged, and the best thing in his life has happened as a result of that lockdown. It was a time for growth for many people, and he used it to his advantage, and now look at him thriving.
