In the history of movies, the true identity of Darth Vader has always been one of the greatest twists. In fact, you’ll rarely if ever find a person attending a Star Wars movie who doesn’t know this no matter how little of the Star Wars franchise they’ve seen. At this point in our history it’s practically common knowledge. However, once in a blue moon you’ll find an innocent soul out there who never knew the real truth and when they find it out, their mind is completely blown.
So what happens when a 15-year-old teenage girl find out that Anakin Skywalker is really Darth Vader? As Larry Wood explains in the notes on YouTube, the girl had never seen a Star Wars movie, but she did know that Darth Vader was Luke Skywalker’s father, because that’s just an aspect of pop culture that it’s difficult to avoid learning.
However, by watching the Star Wars movies in chronological order, rather than release order, having that knowledge, but little else, leads to an entirely different major reveal. Because what if you didn’t know who Darth Vader really was?
