General Hospital Fans aren’t entirely certain their lives are ever going back to normal. Carly is so hellbent on making sure her son doesn’t spend any of his life with Nelle that she’s willing to hurt him to get him to stop spending time with her. It’s not a very motherly thing to do, but she’s doing it anyway. She’s making sure she gets what she wants, and by planting some seeds of doubt in his mind, she is carefully laying the groundwork to get what she wants out of life and out of her son. It’s not going to work out well for him or for anyone else, but she’s doing what she needs to do to ensure she gets her son back.
But what happens when her son is not able to focus on what he really wants in life? Will Carly ever see that she is hurting him? Will she ever care that perhaps she might want to put aside her issues and try and see what her son sees in Nelle? Will she ever find a way to allow her kids to be happy, or will she always try to make them do as she pleases?
If she doesn’t stop interfering in their lives, there might come a point when they no longer want to spend any time with her. If that’s the case, what might happen to her relationship with her kids? She might not have anyone else left at the end of this, and we can’t help but worry.
