General Hospital Spoilers: Is Valentin’s Distraction A Danger?

General Hospital spoilers tell us Valentin is rather distracted. He’s finally made it his mission to help Anna do whatever she needs to do to protect the people of Port Charles from whatever horrible event is going to occur at the ball, but she’s also making it a mission to keep him with her and not with Nina. She’s not trying to steal him from Nina, but she needs him as well as his eyes and ears. Since Nina is unaware of all that’s going on. she’s not going to like what she sees when she spots these two continuously being friendly with one another. She’s not happy, but she’s also on the red carpet speaking with the interviewers — including Mario Lopez.

Valentin is distracted. He wants his wife to stay with him, and he knows she’s ready to go. He’s already pretty much lost her, but we know she can be persuaded to come back. All he has to do is stop spending so much time with the woman she believes is after his heart. She wants his daughter as her own, and she does enjoy the lifestyle she has with Valentin. For whatever reason, she also seems to truly love him. Unfortunately for Nina, we just don’t see this relationship working out for her. Valentin is much too involved with Anna to actually care for Nina in the way she needs to be cared for. We suspect a divorce is imminent.

But the distraction he’s facing as he attempts to remind Nina he loves her while also helping Anna look for what might happen is too much for him. Will this prove to be the one factor no one accounted for when they chose to go into this ball to rescue everyone from the dangers they don’t even realize they’re facing? They still don’t realize it’s little Jake with the toxin, and they’re not sure what they are looking for. Is Valentin too distracted to actually pay attention to the things he needs to notice?
