General Hospital Spoilers: Does Nelle Expect a Thank You After Confessing to Sonny?

General Hospital fans were not surprised to learn that Sonny and Carly would face such adversity following the death of their son, but the storyline involved Nelle seems to drag on forever. It’s not usually the kind of time the writers spend on a story line. Months went by with everyone knowing that Nelle thought Carly was responsible for all the pain of her past, and we all knew she was working hard to make her pay for it. We all know she never slept with Sonny but that she did drug him and then tell him she did. She planned it all to get back at Carly for what she believed she did, and no one was more shocked than Nelle to learn that Carly had absolutely nothing at all to do with what happened to Nelle. It was all Jax.

She’s known this for some time, and she’s been out about her revenge plans for several weeks, and fans thought she might fess up and tell everyone what she did to Sonny so she could get their marriage back on track and try to make things right. With Michael’s feelings in question, we all thought she might make this her goal — but she did not. She kept it to herself, and no one could figure out why she did that when she was trying to make things right. We’re all still confused as to why she said nothing, but it turns out she’s about to.

She’s going to corner Sonny this coming week and tell him all the things she did wrong. She’s going to stop him and tell him she drugged him, and she’s kind of expecting him to thank her for telling the truth and be relieved that he can tell his wife that he didn’t cheat on her so that maybe she won’t want to end their marriage. Except Sonny is not appreciative of this, and he cannot figure out why she would assume he would thank her for coming clean after her lies ruined his life and what chance he had. Will he strike revenge against her?
