General Hospital fans know that everyone is upset and hurt by the death of someone they all love so much. Nathan was a character with a lot of friends and family in Port Charles, and it’s difficult on all of them to deal with the fact he is gone now. He’s not going to be forgotten, especially considering he is leaving behind a pregnant wife. She is more upset than anyone else, but there are other people suffering, too. Dr. Obrecht is suffering hard at the loss of her son. She lied to him for many years about being his aunt even though he is her son.
And then there is Nina, who was raised to believe that they are siblings even though they are really just cousins. And there is Maxie. These three are mourning his death in a way that will forever impact them and their lives as he is gone for good at this point. There is no coming back. This will be the few days leading up to his funeral, and it will affect them all in a way that won’t go away soon.
His funeral will likely be a big one attended by so many people it will continue to amaze us all, and we can’t even begin to imagine how much it will mean to everyone when they find out what he meant to everyone else. It will be a very emotional situation for the next few weeks, but they will figure it out.
