General Hospital fans are not surprised about the way things went down as the week got off to a start. For one, we knew that Griffin would turn into the prime suspect when this all happened. The girl he’s been seeing for a few months — behind her mother’s back — is dead, and the first people that get looked at in a case like this are the people who are sleeping with the victim. And since that happens to be him, and there were problems — so many problems — in his relationship with her, there is nothing that is stopping the Port Charles PD from looking at him with some very harsh eyes. They think he did it, but he has to defend himself, and that’s what he did. He took it upon himself to make sure that they knew he did not do this and that there was nothing that he would do this for. Do they believe him?
And then there is the fact that we know that Jordan is going to get a lead, and we want to know where that will take her. It might look like one thing, but we know that it can be deceiving in that manner. There is an excellent chance that what she finds is going to take her into a new direction that might just show her that something is so much more upsetting than she previously thought. She might not realize that, but right now is the time she might just decide that things aren’t working out for her or this case. What she finds might make a difference, but it might also turn into something that ruins it all for someone who didn’t know this was happening. And we are all worried about Laura right now. She’s a mess.

We know that Curtis is a man of many means, but we didn’t know he could clean up so nice. But we like it, and we are not mad about it in the least. We feel pretty good about all of this and what it means for us.

Ava is on the spot when the police and everyone else being asking questions about her daughter and her death. She’s shocked and upset that her daughter was killed, and she’s not looking to have to talk to anyone about their struggling and upsetting relationship. They’ve not been in a good place in a long time, and this might be one of those things that makes them feel even worse about their lives. She’s not going to be able to lie her way out of things that are being asked of her right now, but that’s her natural response to most people and their thoughts. She’s not going to give up on much of anything at the moment, and that’s all there is to it.
But for now, she’s going to do what she can to make things work out in her favor. She’s got some serious issues to deal with, and that’s all that she can handle. Chase is going to find something that might turn into evidence. We don’t know who killed her yet, but he might find something that he can figure out. This may allow him to help out a bit, but we don’t know if it’s false information or the real stuff. Sonny will also run into Margaux. This is awkward, but it comes just after their last encounter. They dislike one another, but they have to force their way into this without being too obvious about anything. They will never be friends, but they do have to focus on a few other things in the moment.
