General Hospital fans know that Liz is desperate, and there is not a thing we can do about that. We cannot help her. We cannot make this better for her. We can’t do anything for her that is not already being doing. She’s a mess, and that’s all there is to it. She’s got her own life to worry about, and she’s got her own issues to contend with. She’s got things working out in her life in a way that she never thought was even remotely possible, and she’s not sure how to deal with that. How do you focus on things like that when the entire world is falling apart and everyone is a mess? We cannot figure that out, but we can see things unfolding. She’s got to figure out what to do with Franco when he’s ready to leave town as Drew. She wants him to stay, but we can see that this is not going to end well for her. There is no way.
Otherwise, we also know that Monica had to stop by the ICU and see the way things were working out for her, and that did not go well, either. She’s not happy with her own life, and she’s got some decisions to make regarding her own feelings. Sonny is not in a good place in some areas of his life, but he’s in the best places in other areas of his life. He has to figure things out, and that might include looking for a way to bargain his way into the world that he knows. He’s looking for answers and things to do with his time, and we cannot help but wonder how he will do that. He’s got a lot happening right now without that.

Brad has to go out of his way to explain himself, but he’s not sure where to begin. So many things in his life are falling apart right now, and he is not sure how to focus on things that are happening to him. He really did not see many of these things coming, and he’s not sure how much of this will even work out for him in the long run. There is a very good chance his relationship with Lucas might fall apart for good, and the entire situation might cause him to lose so many of the people he loves. He’s not sure how to handle this, and he has to be very careful. Every single thing he says at this point is going to give him a chance to see his life changed, and it might end poorly.
Then there is everything else going on, and it is not good. There is nothing we can see happening outside of things in our minds, but we know that Kim will end up gutted. She’s going to feel her world fall apart as she learns more information from Franco and his memories of Drew’s life. She is sure that her world will never be the same again, and we cannot agree with her more than things are not what she wanted, thought she might like, or really can handle so close to the end of her son’s life. He’s been gone such a short time, and there is nothing like her hurt heart right now. We don’t think she can take more than that.
