General Hospital isn’t on today thanks to the Presidential Inauguration. It’s a day of change for our nation, and our hope is everyone in the nation comes together to support one another regardless of political affiliation. We are one nation, and it’s important we are with one another and for one another rather than further divided. That said, it’s time to look into next week’s new episodes for a smaller than usual sneak peek into what drama might come to those who live in Port Charles.
We have reason to believe that Jason and Sam are looking into Tom’s death, and hopefully they can clear Franco’s name. Liz asks Scott for help, and we aren’t sure how they can handle this one on their own. Franco has disappeared, and he’s going to face some serious consequences based on his actions. Alexis wants desperately to get back to her sober ways, but she’s finding it difficult. Is it more difficult for her this time around than it was in the past? We aren’t sure what is going to happen with her, but we do know that her secret is no longer safe within the confines of her own walls. Someone else finds out that she’s been drinking again, and that she’s been drinking with a dead man.
Jordan and Curtis seem to have some old feelings showing up as they continue to work the case looking for a car bomber. Will they be able to focus on work rather than on their past history? We don’t know, but this time around it’s Jordan who is having the feelings. Anna is going to remember something vital about her past and Valentin, but will it be enough to help her put the rest of the pieces of this puzzle together? Carly still can’t make a decision about Sonny. It’s as if she’s forgotten over the years her husband lives a very dangerous and scary lifestyle. It was all fine before their son was killed, but she’s struggling with it now. Will she find some wisdom to help her make a decision about her future?
