General Hospital fans watch Jason do things he shouldn’t have to do all the time. He is one of the most interesting characters on the show, and he’s had a long history of crazy stuff happen. He formerly killed people for a living. He was a prisoner for a long time. His kid is possessed by some sort of weird spirit of a dead old woman. And he has a lot of personal issues he lives with. One such issue right now is his marriage. He is married to Sam. They just had a baby, and now she’s all kinds of sick and unwell.
He’s not able to figure out her issue any more than her doctors, and he’s worried. But he’s also worried about the danger he feels Sonny is in, and he’s torn. He’s got to save them both, but he can’t seem to make a decision about which one is more important to him. Is it his wife, the mother of his children? Or is it the mobster who has been his best friend for so long?
We think we know the answer to that one. We think the clear answer is Sonny — but that doesn’t mean Sam isn’t important to him. It just means she’s close to being as important. And we think that Jason is going to do what he can to save his friend’s life and tell himself it was the biggest threat at the time to make himself feel better about the entire thing.
