General Hospital fans know that Carly has been going through a lot right now. She’s been in the middle of figuring this all out in her mind, trying to wrap her mind around all that’s going on, and trying to decide what she should do. She’s not sure she’s going crazy, but she knows what’s been happening to her. All the things that are important to her dead son are showing up in her life. He’s back in her life, but he’s not back in her life. He is almost haunting her, and she’s not sure what is happening. She’s confused, she’s got a glimmer of hope that perhaps he might be alive and someone is trying to tell her it’s true.
And she’s not said a word to Sonny about it. Until now. She’s finally going to him with her issues, and he is going to want to know why she waited so long to tell him what’s hurting her. She’s hurting, and he is hurting that she is hurting. She’s not sure what is going on and how it’s going to go down. She’s not sure what it is and how it’s working, but she’s also not sure that his is something she can handle.
There’s a lot of hurt between them right now, and hopefully this will help them move past that. They will work as a team, and that might get them back into a healthy place in their marriage, and that’s what they need.
