The hit post-apocalypse comedy show is staging another Saturday Night Live reunion. TVLine has reported that Fred Armisen will guest star on The Last Man on Earth for a handful of episodes. This will reunite him with his former SNL castmate Will Forte, the creator and star of the show.
Armisen will play the role of Karl, a survivor with an interesting past. There are no other details beyond that. We can now speculate about his so-called “interesting past” and how the gang will end up meeting him. It’s also amazing that he will part of the show and it’s nice that he will reunite with Forte. There are former Saturday Night Live cast members who have previously guest starred on the show like Jason Sudeikis, Will Ferrell, and Kristen Wiig.
In the current season, the survivors continue their sojourn through a post-virus world, as they set sail toward Mexico to avoid nuclear fallout. You can watch new episodes of The Last Man on Earth every Sunday at 9:30pm ET/PT on FOX.
