There are times when kissing is just hilarious since the people doing it obviously don’t know how or are making an effort to make it seem as awkward as possible. In the movies its just funny since you can imagine how it would go in real life. People would probably pull away from each other and ask the other what in the heck they were doing and why the other person’s tongue was on their eye or some weird thing. Or maybe it would excite them.
Who knows?
5. Dirty Grandpa
There’s almost always at least one young woman in college that has the weird fetish that makes them want to sleep with older men, sometimes men that are a LOT older. It could be daddy issues or it could be something that’s completely out of left field, but whatever the case this movie has enough sexual innuendo in it to qualify as a spoiler for its own porno spoof. It’s funny though, got to give it that.
4. Jumanji
This is what happens when two socially awkward teens find themselves in the bodies of two very attractive people and completely ruin the moment by having no clue as to what they’re doing and where their lips actually go. And yet if you watch them kiss at the end of the movie in their real bodies they have no problem figuring out where their lips go. That’s a lot of learning packed into a very short time.
3. The 40-Year Old Virgin
If a woman has been drinking and looks like she’s about to vomit don’t get in the car with her and really don’t let her kiss you since you might not know what’s coming up. If you taste shellfish then you’re in for a long night as Andy found out the hard way. Of course being inept when it comes to women makes this a much harder thing to avoid altogether since he really has no way to know what’s about to happen.
2. The Mask
The woman of your dreams is coming closer, closer, and you can tell she’s in the mood for something, but when she turns your head and starts tonguing your ear like she’s licking her favorite ice cream flavor then you might be dreaming. Of course Stanley wakes up and finds out it’s Milo, but the biggest concern is whether Jim Carrey cleaned his ears out well enough for Cameron Diaz to put a serious licking on his lobe.
1. Dumb and Dumber
There’s something so inherently disturbing about this scene that it just kind of doesn’t look real. It really looks like Jim Carrey is trying to swallow Lauren Holly’s face and just about succeeds putting her chin in his mouth, but thankfully the kiss ends a few seconds after that. This entire movie was one giant gross-out but it was done in such a way that you couldn’t help but laugh since it was just that funny. Unfortunately the movies that came after it didn’t follow in its footsteps. Ah well.
Kissing is one of those things that you want to get right but don’t always manage to nail on the first try.
