Confirmation has hit the web that a new trailer for the new film adaptation of Stephen King’s It will come out tomorrow. People (including myself) are already getting nightmares just thinking about Pennywise. The last time we saw him on screen was in the 1990 series It when the character was played by Tim Curry. He was scary as hell then, and he might be even scarier now. Eerie new screen shots have also emerged as has the official movie poster. For those that need a refresher.
When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
You had me at “evil clown.” If I get the courage to watch this movie, there’s no change it leaves my brain for at least a year. I mean I was scared of that clown in the movie “The Game” let alone Pennywise. How about the one in Poltergeist? OK now I’m just thinking about clowns and it’s completely ruining my day.
