Cases of people getting plastic surgery to look like other people or even fictional characters is increasing at an alarming rate. You see all these wacky stories of people trying to look like Justin Bieber or Britney Spears that it makes you really wonder about the human condition. There are so many things you can spend hard earned money on and I can’t for the life of me understand why a person would spend it to look like Justin Bieber. But hey, that’s me.
Speaking of transformation, this one’s a first and I’m surprised I never heard this story until now. The man in the photo above, Luis Padron from Argentina, has spent more than $30,000 to transform himself into a real life elf. Padron says his passion for becoming an elf began in school where he was bullied for his wild hairstyles and strange fashion sense. He said, “I was bullied as a child and as an escape I would submerge myself in fantasy movies like Labyrinth and The Neverending Story as well as other fantasy tales. ”
While I’m not necessarily on board with this guy becoming an Elf, it would have been pretty awesome if he decided to go for the rock biter look.
