With all of the new movie releases in the last couple of weeks I feel like 90% of the movies we’re talking about have revolved around Alien and Wonder Woman. I hadn’t realized that it’s been nearly a month since anything Harry Potter related has been on the site. And with a whole new batch of movies coming out and television shows coming back I don’t know when we’re going to have time to squeeze in some Potter. But luckily today I came across this pretty sick teaser for a fan film that’s currently shooting. It’s called Voldemort: Origins of the Heir.
Like Star Wars, the Harry Potter has the type of story where you have an endless possibility of spinoffs, prequels, and sequels. Logically one of the best ideas for any kind of spinoffs would be the villain himself, Voldemort. In fact it’s kind of like Revenge of the Sith where you see Anakin Skywalker succumb to the dark side and become Vader. I’m sure tons of Harry Potter fans would love to see a “good” Voldemore AKA Tom Riddle shift to his “dark side.”
Plus you’ve got Dumbledore, Snape, even Hagrid would make a cool spinoff movie. Seeing all the professors in their primes would definitely make for a great series. In the meantime enjoy this trailer to what seems to be a very interesting film.
