Why We’re Excited to See Los Angeles Based Drama “Shot”

There is a new drama heading your way and there are quite a few hopefuls who are anxious to see the premiere. “Shot” is a new drama that many are eagerly awaiting. The recent release of the trailer has everybody talking. There are lots of reasons why we’re wanting to see it so badly. Here is why we’re excited to see the new L.A. based drama

1. The trailer is the perfect teaser

The sneak peak of “shot” offers just enough information to grab the interest of anybody who likes a good drama that includes some reality romance in the mix. The guy who gets shot is being pressured by his wife to move the rest of his stuff out of the house, just before he gets shot. His wife only thinks of his survival and is no longer in a hurry to boot him out. This makes us root for the underdog in quite a few different aspects of his miserable life.

2. It makes a statement about current issues

Anyone who has an opinion on gun ownership is likely to be interested in watching “shot.” The guy is just standing there talking to his wife when a bullet comes from out of nowhere. At first, there is a mystery as to why anyone would shoot him. As the story unfolds, we find out that it is nothing more than a random shooting and it could have happened to anyone else who would have been standing in the same spot at the same time. A gun was in the wrong hands.

3. Noah Wyle is the star

Fans of Noah Wyle are excited to see him in the new drama. He’s the guy who is avoiding the impending end of his marriage and he’s also the one who gets shot. His life changes in the blink of an eye. From what we see in the trailer, he delivers a powerful performance. We’re tantalized with the highlights that we’re shown and it leaves us all begging for more.

4. The drama is intense

We’re given enough information to know that a random act has resulted in changing three lives forever. The young man who shot Wyle was a total stranger. He had no reason for shooting him, according to the limited info we’re given in the scenes from the sneak peek. His confession, from what we can tell, lands him in front of Wyle, who pulls a gun on him and we’re left wondering what happened. We fully understand that in order to find out, we’ll have to watch.

5. It addresses the questions we have

When a senseless act of violence occurs most of us are wondering why. This question burns even deeper for the victims and their loved ones. We have perhaps, some hope of finding out through the dramatization of why this particular act took place to begin with. We’ll find out more as “Shot” is scheduled to be released in theaters in September of 2017. The trailer did a magnificent job of giving us a taste of what is to come, and making us want much more.
