Episode 13 of The Pitt season 2 sees Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch and his team pushed into overtime as the night shift staff arrives to take over.
The episode introduces several new doctors and patients, including a surprise appearance from Noah Wyle’s wife and an unexpected ER reunion.
One patient’s shocking demise looms over the episode, reminding viewers how little time they may have with these characters as season 2 draws to a close.
Here are all the major guest stars in The Pitt season 2, episode 13.

The episode introduces Ashley Davis, a patient with a failing liver under the care of Dr. McKay (Fiona Dourif).
She is played by Noah Wyle’s real-life wife, Sara Wyle (née Wells). Wyle previously appeared on shows such as Californication and Nip/Tuck.
In an interview with USA Today, the actress revealed that despite her husband playing the lead and serving as an executive producer, she still had to audition for the role.
“We went through every rung of the ladder before I got the part,” she confessed.
Wyle also received acting advice from her husband, who was nervous about her performance but encouraged her to have fun. However, fans won’t learn more about her character, as episode 13 marks her first and only appearance.
“It’s a one-stop appearance,” Wyle added.
Geoffrey Owens portrays a night-shift surgeon

Mary McCormack appears as Dr. Linda Conley, the chief of neurosurgery. Noah Wyle’s Dr. Robby describes her as a “legend.”
McCormack previously played Debbie, a Red Cross worker in season 10 of ER. She shared several scenes with Wyle’s Dr. John Carter, making her appearance on The Pitt a treat for fans of their earlier collaboration.
In an interview with Gold Derby, McCormack revealed that she was a fan of the show and auditioned for the role after reading the script for episode 13.
“He’s really a lovely leader. I just can’t say enough about it. Everyone loves him, but it’s all true. The hype is real,” she said of her reunion with Wyle.
The Pitt is currently streaming on HBO Max.
