10 Things You Didn’t Know about Elijah Daniel

10 Things You Didn’t Know about Elijah Daniel

There is such a thing as fringe comedy, the type that seems to go to the outer limits and keep pushing no matter that a lot of folks are no longer laughing and are instead just waiting to see what will happen. Elijah Daniel seems to reside in that space where the fringe meets the outer limits as his sense of humor definitely seems to keep him on the edge or just beyond it as far as a lot of people are concerned. That’s not to say that he doesn’t have fans, as he has plenty of those that are willing to support his stand against the ideals of those that seem to rub him the wrong way just as they do so many others. Whether he’s in it for the sincere and altruistic reasons he would claim or is just trying to get famous is hard to say, but there does seem to be some hint of honesty to his actions, even if they tend to be a bit out there at times and are likely to anger a lot of people who either can’t take a joke or don’t see a joke in the first place.

Here are a few things about Elijah you might not have known.

10. He’s 25 years old as of now.

At this time he’s still pretty young so it’s safe to say that he’s idealistic and calls it realistic when looking at the things he parodies and the issues that he believes in. Without offense this is something that’s pretty normal for a lot of people in their younger years, though a lot still hold onto these ideals as they grow older.

9. Elijah has been a comedian and YouTube personality for a while.

YouTube was where he really came to prominence as you can guess since this seems to be a staging platform for a lot of people these days who want to make something of themselves. Of course it does take someone that’s willing to go the extra mile and risk getting banned and silenced now and again just to make sure they get their words out.

8. No joke, his rapper name was Lil Phag.

Emily Bicks of Heavy pointed this one out. Not many people could possibly get away with this kind of thing at the moment since the mere mention of it when being spoken by anyone else might seem like a homophobic and hateful parody that would fly in the face of all that the LGBTQ+ community stands for. But it sounds as though nothing really happened when he used it.

7. He did move in with his grandmother when she was sick in order to take care of her.

This does seem to indicate that he has a good heart and a calmer side since it does take a special kind of person to care for another human being, even if it’s their family member and they feel that it’s their responsibility.

6. Elijah created a petition to make the song Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus the national anthem.

One can only hope that this is a parody that he was attempting since there’s not much chance that anything like this is going to happen, no way and no how. Not too surprisingly there were people that agreed with him and signed the petition.

5. It’s safe to say that his comedy is a bit bizarre and that it’s planned that way.

He does seem to go off the rails a bit sometimes but it’s a bit obvious that this is how he plans and it’s a part of his act to get the attention he wants and the laughs he desires. The only issue is that he’s gone quite a bit off the rails at times and run the risk of being seen as a rather crazy individual. Somehow though it would seem that he doesn’t really care, he’s going to do his thing anyway.

4. He’s been praised for his antics.

This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise since there are a lot of people out there that hold to his views of the world and of politics and they likely think that he’s a wise man doing his best to open their eyes and show them the truth of things.

3. It’s not much of a surprise that he’s received death threats from people.

This isn’t right, but it’s not at all surprising either since those that speak out against any facet of the USA tend to rub some folks the wrong way and therefore incur the wrath of those that might never do anything, or those that might.

2. He renamed Hell, Michigan, as Gay Hell for a day.

Hollie Silverman of CNN reported that he bought the mayor position of Hell for two weeks and actively tried to ban heterosexual people from the town. As stunts go, this one could have easily blown up in his face.

1. You would almost think that his following on social media would be a bit bigger.

His followers do number in the hundreds of thousands but for someone that loves to pull stunts you’d almost think that he’d attract more of those that think what he does is funny. Unless of course there’s not that many to begin with.

You have to watch this guy to believe him.
