10 Things You Didn’t Know About Ed Quinn

Ed Quinn

Talented writer, director, and producer Tyler Perry is at it again. On October 23, 2019, his new soap opera The Oval premiered on BET. It follows the story of an interracial family that’s currently the first family residing in the White House. It’s a political drama that touches on all sorts of emotions. POTUS Hunter Franklin, who is played by actor Ed Quinn, heads the Franklin family in the show. Quinn may not be a familiar name for many, but he’s certainly a familiar face. If you plan to follow The Oval in the next coming weeks, here are 10 things you should know about the head of the Franklin family.

1. Quinn is the right age for a president

In fact, Quinn has looked the same for quite some time now.

2. He’s a California native

If you were to look for it, you can probably find him in over 35 international television commercials.

6. Quinn is a musician

We know that Hollywood is full of talented triple threats that can sing, dance, and act–or at least they claim to be able to do so. However, there are only a select few that can truly say they can do more than just act. Quinn belongs to that circle, as he happens to be an actual musician. Quinn trained under legendary music artist Joe Satriani. He played in a couple of bands, Mad Theory and Scattergood, and he even had a recording contract once.

Combine that with his income from commercials and the modeling he’s done in the past, and Quinn’s managed to accumulate a net worth of over $3 million USD.
