It has been revealed that Dwayne Johnson will be hosting a new athletic competition show called Titan Games, which will be broadcast on NBC in the not so distant future. For those who are curious, said show will see competitors taking on its titular Titans in a series of physical challenges, which should make for an interesting spectacle for those who love shows such as American Gladiators as well as American Ninja Warrior. In fact, it should be mentioned that Johnson came up with the idea for the show while he was watching American Ninja Warrior, which happens to be one of his favorite shows on the TV screen.
At this point in time, not too much information has been released about what interested individuals can expect from Titan Games. We know that the competitors will be going up against the show’s own Titans, but we don’t actually know much about what kind of physical challenges will be involved. Meanwhile, it has been said that Johnson will be serving as the master of ceremonies for Titan Games, but it is unknown at this point in time whether he will be involved in other ways with what is seen on the screen as well.
Off of the screen, it should come as no surprise to learn that Johnson will be involved with Titan Games in various ways. For example, it has been revealed that Johnson will be working as one of the executive producers for the show. However, he will not be alone in that regard, as shown by the fact that five other executive producers have been announced as well. Furthermore, it should be mentioned that ten episodes of the show are expected at this point in time, which should be more than enough to provide interested individuals with a full picture of what they can expect. Should those ten episodes prove to be successful enough, there can be no doubt that more episodes will follow in their footsteps.
Johnson’s new athletic competition show is particularly interesting in light of the fact that he has a pretty full schedule for the future. For example, people who were watching the Super Bowl might have noticed the fact that he has a new movie coming out in 2018 called Skyscraper, which will be featuring him as not just the lead but also one of the producers. However, it should be noted that Johnson has two other movies that are expected to see release in 2018, with one being Rampage and the other being Fighting with My Family. In both of those movies, Johnson is serving as not just the lead but also as an executive producer, which is a pattern that can be seen in a lot of his projects.
On top of these movies in 2018, Johnson has other projects that are coming up in the not so distant future. For example, he isn’t appearing in the Shazam! movie, but he is still an executive producer in it, which makes sense when he has been cast as Black Adam for some time by now. Furthermore, Johnson is make a spin-off of Fast and Furious that is expected to see release in 2019, which will be followed by the next installment in the Fast and Furious franchise in 2020. Simply put, Johnson is in high demand at the moment, which makes sense considering the movies that he has been turning out.
