The actress and television host has become one of the contributors to the series. Recently, she led a panel of 14 voters who support either the Independent, the Democratic, or the Republican party. These voters were all from Grand Rapids in Michigan. The show covered a discussion about Trump’s first year in office and the opinions shared varied widely. While some people claimed to love Trump, there were other panelists who believe his little more than a bully in a position of power.
Trump took to social media site Twitter to air his grievances about the show. His main criticism was of Oprah herself, rather than the topic of discussion or the opinions shared by the voters on the panel. In his opinion, the questions asked by Oprah were biased and the facts she delivered were incorrect.
Despite what Trump has suggested, Oprah made no declarative statements for or against Trump at any point during the program. The questions she asked ranged from whether respect for the United States internationally has declined to whether they believe the country is economically better off or not.
Not satisfied with criticizing her hosting and presenting skills, Trump went on to say he hoped she would run for president herself. He said that if she were to run, it would be great to see her exposed and defeated.
There has repeatedly been speculation about the possibility of Oprah running for president. In fact, many of her supporters feel that she would be the perfect candidate. However, Oprah has said that she has no plans to run for president. In various interviews with the media, including with Entertainment Weekly, she has commented that it is something she has thought about in the past, but it is not something she plans to pursue.
Oprah has been a special contributor on ’60 Minutes’ since September 2017. However, CBS first revealed the news that she would be joining the Sunday evening news magazine in January 2017. Since she has joined the show, she has led discussions on many topics. This is the most recent series Oprah Winfrey has contributed to in a long and successful career in television.
It makes sense that people would be keen for Oprah Winfrey to get more involved in politics as this television personality and businesswoman is highly intelligent, has had opportunities to develop informed political views, and has extensive experience in all fields of the media. She is already considered one of the most powerful women in the world and one of the most influential women of the 20th century.
However, Trump’s motivations for egging her on to run for president are not in recognition of her achievements or credentials; he simply wants her to face the mockery of the public.
