A Deadwood Revival Movie Script Has been Delivered to HBO

If there’s one HBO show that fans have been clamoring for a revival it’s Deadwood.  Those who watched it were obsessed with it and talks of it coming back have been going on for years.  However, this week we received the strongest indication yet that there could be something in the works.   Despite an amazing three-year-run, many feel that the David Milch written series was incomplete.  Perhaps now there’s a realistic chance the show can get the ending it deserves.

In a new interview, actor Ian McShane gives the strongest indication yet that the Deadwood revival movie is on the horizon. The actor says that a script from Milch has already been given to the powers that be at HBO. And while McShane is quick to note that nothing has been set in stone, it seems as though things are moving closer and closer to production. The actor told TVLine:

“[A] two-hour movie script has been delivered to HBO. If they don’t deliver [a finished product], blame them.”

Is there any other quote you’d expect from the gruff and tough Ian McShane?  This guy’s never short on honesty.   He also said:

“I’ll be seeing [Milch] for lunch [soon]. We’d all love to do it… It would be nice to see all of the old gang again.”

We’ll be keeping you all posted.
