Days of Our Lives fans are always excited when things take a turn for the better, and we think that Eli’s acceptance of the police commissioner job might be good for him. We also know that it might be a total mess in some way, shape or form, but it might be good for him. He and Lani are trying very hard to make things work in their personal life, and he’s also trying to further his career, make some positive changes, and put the past behind him. Nicole, on the other hand, is still fake Nicole, and she’s not happy when Tony takes off. She’s got him on a short leash, so this does not work for her. And, then there is Gabi, who might not be so happy that she was asked to sign a prenup before she marries her future husband, Stefan. She did it, though. And that’s a good thing. Abe will marry them, and it might just work.
Stefan and Gabi know that Nicole is also getting married, but they have no idea who she will marry in her own effort to take over and maintain control over the company that she feels entitled to own and control. They are working hard to make sure she doesn’t get to that point first, and they have no idea she’s not Nicole. They are still curious what has happened to her in the time she was thought dead, but they will find out she is not Nicole before much longer…right? Will, on the other hand, has a conversation with Hope about Ted, and she might not like it. He’s picked up on a small problem in Ted’s story, and he wants to know if Hope noticed the inconsistencies, too. Did she?

Hope is not someone who likes to live a lie, but her entire life lately has been nothing but lie after lie. She’s not sure how to believe anything anyone says her anymore, because she’s so looking to find the good in all the people she loves the most. She’s thrown away her marriage, her kids are not happy with her, her family is unhappy, she’s lost her job and her career, and she’s involved with a man who is doing things that she would die if she knew about. And, the secrets he is keeping are ugly, bad, horrible secrets. They are not happy, but she’s not entirely sure how she can live like this without knowing his truth. Will has come to her with some information that has changed the game, and now she has to figure out what to do with that information and how to make it work.
Things are not good for her, and she’s going to avoid talking to Ted about it. What she needs to do is just that — but she will not. Instead, she’s going to go into his apartment and make some discoveries when he is not around, and she’s going to be horrified. She knows that what everyone has been telling her is right, but she’s not sure how to handle that. She’s not sure how to focus on things that she doesn’t want to see. She’s not sure how to live her life, and she’s not sure what to do with this information that she is living with now that it’s obvious to her. She’s got to make a decision, and there isn’t an easy one.
