Days of Our Lives fans are watching a few hard situations today, most of all the exit of Theo. He’s off to South Africa for some cutting-edge medical treatments designed to help him recover from the pain he’s in and the situation ion which he is in. He is not happy about the way things are progressing, and he has to do what he can to heal. This is obviously not his first choice for taking care of his injuries and healing, but he has to do it if he wants to live the kind of life he was meant to live.
And that means today he’s saying goodbye to the people he loves the most. He’s got to kiss his family, his girlfriend, and all his friends goodbye and tell them he loves them as he embarks on this new journey of his. He’s not happy about this, but he understands it’s necessary. He’s sad. He’s upset, and he’s not going to feel better until he is better.
It’ll be difficult to watch as he says goodbye for one year. It will be hard to watch him go, and it will be so much harder for JJ to handle this situation as it occurs in his life. He is not okay with what happened, even though he knows what he did was not intentional or malicious, he does know he is not going to change things by doing any more harm around Salem. It’s time for him to let go.
